Ajna Bar Executive Chef Yasuyuki Nagao

Born in Japan, Yasu offers not only years of culinary training, but also the secrets of a Master Sushi chef. After the requisite ten years of training under a Sushi Master to become one himself, Yasu developed his skills further at the Sapporo Brewery and at several other restaurants in Japan before coming to the United States in 1987. Once in New York he proceeded to wow sushi fans with his magical creations at top New York restaurants like Nobu 57. In addition to classic sushi offerings, he borrows flavors from outside Japan to tease dinners with new and exciting creations.
